Carols @ Kingsway Centre

Late last Monday night we got a request for this Saturday to sing Christmas Carols in support of St David’s Hospice Care, for the opening of Santa’s Grotto in Newport Kinggsway Centre by the Mayor of Newport. Although it was short notice there were 30+ choristers who signed up. On Friday evening we successively lost our conductor, and our stand-in accompanist with his keyboard! Panic stations, or what?
Not a bit of it. On Saturday we were there, accompanied by Sylvia as a stand-in for the stand-in, Frank made his keyboard available – and who needs a conductor anyway? (Only joking, Guy!) Our thanks to Sylvia and Frank, and congratulations to John for remaining sane throughout … well all things are relative   🙂
